Why measure pH and temperature?

Healthy growing plants, just like humans, need a balanced diet of appropriate nutrients (food). However, plants can only access these nutrients when the nutrient solution is within a certain pH range.
From a water chemistry perspective, pH (potential Hydrogen) plays a pivotal role in making the nutrients in your solution soluble so that they can be accessed by your plants. That’s why if your growing solution becomes too acidic or too alkaline, the plants won’t be able to get access to the nutrients they need to grow. The temperature of your growing solution is equally important as having a solution that’s too hot or too cold can affect growth rate and structure.

Conductivity and pH are connected. When preparing a new nutrient solution, you'll need to add the appropriate amount of nutrients according to the plants' needs. Once you’ve checked the conductivity (EC or PPM), which confirms whether the nutrient levels are correct, you'll then need to regularly adjust the pH to ensure those nutrients are available to the plant.

- Processing Time: Orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Orders placed after 3 PM EST will be processed the next business day.
- Shipping Rates: Shipping rates are calculated based on the weight of your order and your delivery location. Shipping costs will be displayed at checkout.
- Delivery Time: Delivery times vary depending on your location and the shipping method selected. Typically, domestic orders are delivered within 5-7 business days. Expedited shipping options are available at checkout.
- Order Tracking: Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number so you can monitor your shipment's progress.
International Shipping
- Availability: We currently offer international shipping to select countries. International shipping rates and delivery times vary by destination.

Return Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Hydroleaf. If you need to return an item, please follow these guidelines:
- Return Window: You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. Items must be returned in their original packaging and condition.
- Non-Returnable Items: Certain items, such as perishable goods or custom-made products, are not eligible for return. Please check the product description for any specific return restrictions.
- Return Process: To initiate a return, contact our customer service team at hello@hydroleaf.com or call us at . We will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions on how to return your item.
- Refunds: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow up to 7 business days for the refund to appear on your account.
- Return Shipping Costs: The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to an error on our part or a defective product.
Exchanges
- Eligibility: Items can be exchanged for the same product or a different product of equal value. Please contact our customer service team to arrange an exchange.
- Process: Follow the return process outlined above to return the original item. Once we receive the returned item, we will ship the replacement item to you at no additional shipping cost.
